Craftroots: Reviving The Traditional Crafts of India

Providing a unique platform to the ancient craftsmanship of India, which was on the brink of extinction, Craftroots, a sister concern of Gramshree, is an initiative founded in 2007 by former Chief Minister of Gujarat Smt. Anandiben Patel, her daughter Anar Patel and Vandana Agrawal. Craftsroots strives to revive and preserve the craft traditions of our nation and empowering artisans.

More About Craftroots

Not only is it bringing forth India’s fast dying art of craft, but Craftroots is also spreading awareness about the skills, time, and creativity that artisans are investing in their craft. From connecting like-minded group- artisans with NGOs, businesses, designers, etc.- to hosting “live exhibitions”, launching retail stores, Craftroots is devoted to bringing the traditional crafts of Gujarat into the spotlight.
