Delhi Rock: A Holistic Fitness Centre in Delhi

Based at Delhi, this centre focuses on various climbing and aerial skills like climbing, Vayu Yoga, Krav Maga, Acro Yoga, Parkour and Trapeze. With a focus on increasing the strength, endurance, agility, and balance of the body and mental control, the climbing skill is taught by Indian National Champion Ganesh Chhetri who is certified by Himalayan Mounttering Institute, Darjeeling.

Vayu Yoga or Flying Yoga is taught by Acharya Suresh Dutt Sharma. Vayu Yoga entails the practice of yoga asanas while suspended in silken hammocks to relax from weight and stiffness of the body. Acharya Suresh comes from Purohit lineage and is mastered in various yoga styles. He is a trained Reiki healer and Panchkarma specialist and has travelled to various yoga centers like Uttarkashi Tapowan, Sivananda Math (Rishikesh), Himalayan Institute of Yoga (Dehradun), Bihar School of Yoga (Munger), Kaivalya Dham (Lonavala), Osho Ashram (Maharashtra), Yog Vedant Ashram Sivananda (South India) and many more.

Another skill Krav Maga is a unique self-defence style with a mix of martial arts, striking, grappling and wrestling. The technique is taught by Prabhsharan who is trained by Master Vicky Kapoor and is a trained instructor from Israel.

Acroyoga is a combination of yoga, acrobatics, and therapeutics partner drill activities that focuses on partner stretches, partner drills, counterbalance, partner acrobatics, and partner therapy. Another unique skill is Parkour which is taught by Abhishek. Parkour is the art of navigating effortlessly through obstacles and enhance one’s agility, strength and the ability to make quick decisions while on the move. Abhishek is a trained Parkour teacher for six years and is trained in karate (Okinawa Goju Ryu) and has also learned yoga from Kaivalyadham in Mumbai.
