The Summer House, a fashion portal, is a brainchild of Shivangini Parihar. She used to go to the house of her grandmother in Mt Abu during every summer where she would get a new frock sewn by her grandmother. Getting inspired by her grandmother’s passion for experimenting, Shivani came up with the idea of Summer House. The hunger for constant improvement and betterment by the way of questioning the status quo is her way of functioning.
Alongside, providing skill-enhancing opportunities to the team members, Summer House also aids the craftsmen lives by keeping the middlemen at bay. It has also collaborated with several NGOs. The use of organic, sustainable, and artisanal fabrics is at the core of the existence of the Summer house.
The Summer House can be thought of as a brand which uses traditional techniques, and the sustainable raw material for crafting contemporary apparels and decor.
